The cartoon, in a comical way, criticizes deforestation. With the elements present, it is clear that man is cutting the tree with the ax and, simultaneously, death is cutting him in the same way. With such representation, it becomes evident the interpretation that man needs the tree to survive and, if he cuts it down, he gets closer and closer to death. Bringing this into everyday life, trees are like filters for air and, if they do not perform this function, we would die of suffocation. However, even though they know this, many people still deforest without caring about the consequences, while aiming only at the profit they would get from such an act.

A charge, de forma cômica, faz uma crítica ao desmatamento. Com os elementos presentes, percebe-se que o homem está cortando a árvore com o machado e, simultaneamente, a morte o está cortando da mesma forma. Com tal representação, 🤬 evidente a interpretação que o homem precisa da árvore para sobreviver e, se cortá-la, ele 🤬 cada vez mais perto da morte. Trazendo isso para o cotidiano, as árvores são como filtros para o ar e, se elas não desempenharem essa função, nós morreríamos sufocados. Contudo, mesmo sabendo disso, muitas pessoas ainda desmatam sem se importar com as consequências, enquanto visam apenas o lucro que elas conseguiriam com tal ato.

This cartoon critizes the people who can´t understand another people and makes no effort to try it. On the cartoon, the man, a privileged person, keeps complaining about the things he doesn't get. When the woman that he was talking to asks him if he ever tried to understand some of the things he described and he doesn't say anything, she goes away. Then, this man keeps thinking that he doesn't get her, which is something really stupid. He should've stopped complaining and started thinking about changing his attitude instead of just keep being stupid and indifferent about another people.
