What impact did geography have on the development of the American colonies?

The answer to this question is B, it led to a variety of economic differences between, northern, middle, and south colonies. This is the answer because In the south they have very rich soil which helped with their farming. Most of their economy was farm especially of cash crops. The middles colonies made had average soil but they could really only grow grain, wheat, and corn. They had smaller farms while the south had huge plantations. The north had bad soil and depended on ship building and fishing since most of their land was around water. This is the answer because the geological difference between the colonies changes how they make up their economy.
