         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>Working on reading ( F·R·I·E·N·D·S )<br><br>Ask S if they like watching TV series and start a discussion. If nobody has mentioned Friends, ask them about it and if S do not know, explain a little about it. Ask them to sit together in groups (random name picker to be used here -&gt; heterogeneous groups). Then give them the worksheets and get down to business!&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;1) Tell all the members of the groups to read the text individually, making questions to their classmates in their groups or to the teacher if anybody knows something.&nbsp;<br>2) Tell them to make sure that every single member of the group understands the ideas of the text as well as the vocabulary<br>3) Meanwhile they are reading the text, the T walks around the class answering questions and giving points to each group if they are following the steps the T said (points to "assess" them at the end of the class).&nbsp;<br>4) Once everyone has finished, tell them to turn the worksheet upside down and use the random name picker to start choosing S.&nbsp;<br>5) When a S has been chosen, this S receives a question.&nbsp;<br>6) The questions can be related to vocabulary or to the content&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>60 minutes class for 2nd ESO<br>Warm up 10<br>While I take the register, students will watch a Youtube Video in which there is a pharmacist and a customer telling he has a headache and he wants a medication. It lasts 1m. They will watch it twice and in groups they will have to discuss what happens in the video (5 mins) (MINI GROUPS). Then, I'll ask students (umbrella questions) if they have been in the same or similar situations and what they would do. (WHOLE GROUP)<br><br>Pre-task 15 minutes<br>Game: come up with a list of words related to illnesses and medicine. the group which has more correct words wins (5 mins). They will be given a piece of paper to write them, and then they will give their lists to the other groups. They will have to check if these words exist with their dictionaries and prepare a separate list with the words they don't know how to pronounce.<br><br><br><br>Task 20 minutes<br><br>Once they have their paper back, they will have 10 minutes on their own to create sentences using the words in the list in context. For one illness, one medicine. Each member will have to participate, so for that, they will have one paper with 4 sides in which they can write first on their own and later check all together. 5 minutes to check what the other members of the group did and 5 last minutes for a last revision.<br><br>Post-task 15 minutes<br><br>Each group will have a representative chosen by a ''ramdom'' number, and this person of the group will have to explain what they did and tell the rest of the class some of the key sentences they have written to the rest. Feedback on pronunciation will be given as well as more examples with voc in context.</div>]]></description>
