I learned that his greatest contribution is to understand that in the struggle for survival nature puts out variations. Also he made the animal kingdom and put us into groups. Lastly he didn’t have an opinion on nature he just thought it was cruel.

Based on my reading I found out that, Darwin was the one who originally categorized all animals into groups. I never knew this, I knew that we were all in groups such as mammals and reptiles but I did not know where all of that information came from.

One thing I learned about Charles Darwin is that he said that life is interconnected. He says that if something happen in the sea, it will happen on land. So if a fish goes extinct, something on the land will be extinct. On page xvii, the text states “All life on Earth is interconnected, and altered circumstances will change the order of life at sea, which will also change life on land. And all of this can and will have an enormous impact on our lives.” This proves that life is interconnected.

I learned that Charles Darwin had impacted the studies of nature. The text states that Charles Darwin had written a book understanding nature by understanding that species struggle to survive for their own species. This explains the affection for eachother  rather than other struggling species. Also the text claims that nature is cruel. This describes how nature has been nice and has been cruel. This proves what I learned about Charles Darwin.

based on my reading of pgs xii- xvii in world with out fish what I learned about Charles Darwin is he made a contribution to understand that in the struggle for survival nature puts out variations the species that successfully adapt through the use of variations survive and the others become extinct (this is stated on page xv ) this is what I learned about Charles Darwin based on my reading of pgs xii - xvii in world with out fish.

One thing I learned about Charles Darwin is that he didn’t see nature as particularly nice or kind, but rather as a cruel system in which species attempted to kill and dominate other species in order to secure the survival of their own kind.

I learned that Charles Darwin made a long book that is called, On the Origin of Species, by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle on Life. He made this book to explain all about how different species have different lifestyles, and it explains how they find against predators

I learned that Charles Darwin thought in a very different way then most people did. His ideas are very controversial even to this day. He said that nature was not a nice place where animals kill each other for survival. People didn’t like that idea and thought he was being very harsh. Secondly he thought that we show more sympathy to animals that are biologically closer to us than others and no one thought of this before.

After my reading yesterday, I learned that Charles Darwin wrote a famous book about his research, and it caused lots of controversy since it went against many peoples beliefs.

One thing that I learned from these pages was that Charles Darwin split us all into different categories. I also learned that we are classified as Homo sapiens. I knew that we were classified this way, but I did not know that Charles Darwin is the reason that we are. I also found it very interesting that so many people back then believed him, as so many people were, especially back then, very religious and his ideas go against the Bible.

Based on my reading of pages xii-xvii in World Without Fish, I learned many things about Charles Darwin. I saw his point of view and why he thought differently about fish and sea life compared to other people. I also learned that Darwin’s greatest contribution was being able to understand when people, animals, or plants struggle to live nature helps them, and the other ones become extinct.

Based on my reading of pages 12-17 in “World Without Fish” what I learned about Charles Darwin had his own way of thinking and some people agreed and some didn’t. Also he wrote about how all species struggle for the survival of their own group. I also learned that Charles had a great contribution, which was to understand that in the struggle for survival.

I learned he is a person who says that this world is a species eat species world. He made this book that said things about his theory. He didn’t think nature was beautiful because of this. And I do agree with him. He was also born on the same day as Abraham Lincoln. He also said that a vegetarian doesn’t eat from his own kingdom, but eats from another, which is plants. “Ultimately, a vegetarian is a human who rejects killing living things from his own kingdom-Animals-but accepts killing from the other kingdom-plants”
