Introduction:
- The paper attempts to describe about theoretical and technical framework to tackle ethical challenges in Medical Imaging.
- Standardized codes of ethics are not or hard to be affiliated with the practice of Medical Imaging.
- Most literature about Medical Imaging rather focused more on procedural protocol on various forms of medical imaging.
- Issues of patient's privacy and security of data are viewed under a different discussion/perspective.
- Ethical issues in Medical Imaging should be taken into consideration by healthcare professionals.
- This paper will also introduce a pilot framework in order to address the ethical issues of medical imaging (specifically digital imaging in e-health applications.)

Objectives:
ISSUES
- Issues in lack of universally accepted and standardized codes in ethical research
- Ethical code of conduct issues in Medical Imaging involving patient consent that does not meet the globally accepted ethical standard

SOLUTIONS
1. Identify the responsibility of all healthcare professionals involved in the process of medical imaging, according to the regulations and established code of ethics.
2. Provide a framework of best practice regarding protection of patient right to tackle the issue.

Issues :
1. The need to enhance the privacy and security of personal medical data

2. The need to design the most effective software to protect the database and digital images.

3. To design a software that compliance to the EU data protection legislation.

Solutions :
1.Keeping a backup of primary database re-encrypted ( change the data into code) in order to prevent unauthorized access..

2. Use hand and voice over user recognition authentication.

3. All the images should be encrypted before being uploaded to the database.

4. Follow all the specific guidelines/criterias set by the EU when designing the software.

5. Use data mining algorithm which understand the behaviour of the existing user.

6. Create a software that able to detect unusual activities in the system.

7. Use a limited connection (intranet) that only allow communication within the institution

Issue 1:
1. Security issue concerning images in digital imaging
Solution:
1. Conduit module-This module assess each transaction/retrieval from/to database and ensure the available data is consistent and encrypt.
2. Database- Consists of two-factor authentication PIN mechanism which generated every 20 seconds automatically
3. Application- Require hand and voice recognition mechanism for log-in purposes. Besides, Support vector machines (SVMs) is applied once the user log-in the system

Issue 2:
1. Privacy issue of the digital images
Solution:
1. Use Gaussian blur algorithm which automatically blur the patient's face and some physical distinctive birth marks of patient's body.
2. The blurred images will be encrypted and injected to the database of the relevant patient ID record
