Every song has a certain thing that stands out about it. Something that always grabs my attention is when an artist is so passionate about their music they get to where they cannot control their voice. In Numb by Phora he is unable to control his voice to get up to the notes he wants, but this allows for the listener to hear the full, raw passion that the artist is putting into the song. There are many songs that capture this, and it shows the raw talent as well as how much music means to these artist. Music is everything for some people , an outlet, a living, a lifestyle. This is their only outlet and I feel that's why this element is so important to be covered.

This stands out to me as one of the most important elements in music. Although most times it's look at as just "wow they are really letting themselves go", it shows to me that this is what they artist cares about. They want the listener to be with them through out their journey. It gives the listener a view through the artist eyes. It shows them what is really going on behind just every record hit, or the superstar lifestyle.
