Vision Board Module 10 Individual Component by Angelina Rosberg https://padlet.com/angelinarosberg233/e43optaeqbbn47tc This vision board is a collection of classroom goals, mantras, inspiration, and resources for making reading, writing, listening and speaking a foundational element for ALL students across all curricula. Students learning how to read is the fundamental skill that needs to be taught in schools. It effects learning in all other academic subjects as well as social, emotional, economic, and physical health. As a new teacher, I want to make sure I hit the required learning targets across all content areas. However, my primary focus as a first grade teacher is to teach students how to read so they can grow up and be able to think for themselves. As they grow into fluent readers, they begin reading to learn.
