To answer the question: I would choose to be a backpack. Why? Because a backpack is a constant companion—always there, yet often overlooked or tossed aside. Its weight goes unnoticed until it becomes a burden, symbolizing how our internal struggles can remain invisible to others. A backpack holds everything needed for daily life: books, personal items, and more. Similarly, it can carry emotions, challenges, and even deep-seated secrets. The external appearance of a backpack—whether battered, beaten up, or brightly colored—can reflect one’s emotions, but until you look inside, you won’t truly understand what lies beneath the surface. So yeah… in this long way of saying it, I would be a backpack because I have all these different pockets that withhold information from others, but apparently I am only convenient when people need me.

I think I would choose to be a book or pen because with a book you can be taken to a whole different world, and experience a different lifestyle, and let go of reality and the struggles of the real world. For the pen option, I like to write in other languages, and I think it'd be really cool to see what/ how others think, and how they take perspective of things. I would also want to be a camera, because when you have the right angle, good lighting, and right timing, you can capture an excuisite memory in time that you might not remember clearly in 10 years from now.
