         <description><![CDATA[<div>Q2, depends on what each teacher wants to do. Are we still giving homework? ATM I think most teachers assume students have access to what they need.<br><br>Q3 There could be a policy balance that those who have tech in class don't give homework but those who don't have tech in the classroom can give homework. Really we have to go back to the question of whether or not homework is really essential or valuable</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Q2 Teachers could expect that students will have access and could assign homework without worrying about equity<br>Q3 Just because we can doesn't mean that we should. We still have to answer the question of the value of homework.<br>Could we somehow, way, or day see a policy change that would adjust the school day so that some of the "seat time" or "homework" students have could happen during the 7 hours they already have assigned for school? Something like Innovation High or something?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Department equity - every student learning in every department has access to a device.  Community partners don’t need to wonder why focus is just on sci/ela/math - everyone has support.</div><div><br></div><div>District supported device - support is not put upon the family, school takes care of it.  All kids have access.  Home access may be limited by many factors, including multiple kids in a home with one ‘kid’ device.</div><div><br></div><div>Assessments - done online at home.  Teachers can get feedback before students come to school and have time to prep.  Formative at home, summative at school.</div><div><br></div><div>Classroom management and device management.  Device management systems need to be in place to monitor what kids are doing.</div><div><br></div><div>Student engagement.  Meet students where they live - online.  Engagement options many and plentiful.  Simulations, online discussions, gamification, collaboration.</div><div><br></div><div>Save money on devices compared to current plan.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
