We live in the age of generative AI, such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek. These platforms can easily create different types of questions, like multiple-choice and open-ended ones. We can even ask them to improve the instruments to make them valid and reliable. But the big question is: can AI-generated questions really be considered valid and reliable for assessmet purposes?

According to the presentation and the article you have explained to us, AI cannot be relied 100%, it is just a complement so my answer is 50/50 there are cases that we can rely on it for assessment purposes but still, English teachers need to put their expertise
