         <description><![CDATA[<div>The deaths would have been much higher if an invasion of Japan had taken place. Further more, the Cold War would have taken place whether the bombs had been used or not. The bombs were devastating, and though the deaths were tragedies, it made the world more reluctant to use nuclear weapons again.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>despite it being a tough position, the US shouldn't have unleashed the atomic bomb. way too many people died and a lot of them were innocent civilians. it caused mass destruction and obliteration, and even those who didn't die from it suffered immensely. </div>]]></description>
