As the COVID-19 epidemic appeared when I was still in elementary school, it very obviously had a big impact on my life. Being stuck inside a house with online school and the internet with limited face-to-face human interaction does that to you. That was the time where I actually created social media accounts at the Very Mature Age of Nine Years Old.

My siblings also played a large role in my life and helped me become what I am today. My older sister was the one who originally helped me get into fandom (and art?) as far as I know/can remember. There was this one time, back in the 201Xs, she was giving me a tutorial on how to draw Sans from Undertale, and it sucked. My brother is there too I guess

Apparently according to my sister I got my first iPad when I was two years old. Which is concerning. But at least it made me experienced in internet etiquette and art. I think I vividly remember WHEN I got it, but I'm not sure whether or not it was a separate memory... but it was my dad walking through the front door with an iPad with a blue rubber case on it.

Speaking of the internet, when I was in the single-digits of age I used my mother's YouTube account. Which was a bad idea. Because I remember seeing an obviously-joking video of a man "not being able to solve" a 2-piece puzzle of a giraffe, and I left an angry comment saying that the man was stupid, or something like that. Then I got multiple replies from people telling me off, or something to that effect. I don't actually remember what they said or if I cared, but I did lose access to a YouTube account.

I created a Discord account at the ripe age of 9 as mentioned before, even though back then the minimal age you had to be was 13 (now it's 17 on the app store?). It was very obvious that I was a child. I'm not in the first server I joined anymore, but I remember very, very confidently posting my very, very bad art. At one point I remember someone DM'ing me, and I'm pretty sure we talked for a bit before the topic of age came up. They asked me how old I was, and I knew being young was bad, so I decided to add 3 years to my age, making me 12. They then told me to be careful on the internet and other things like that. Looking back I was incredibly lucky they didn't try to get weird with me, and it gave me a good first impression of having an actual social media account.

Before I got Alight Motion in 2022, I used to make Gacha "animations" (HEAVY QUOTES) on Kinemaster. I heard about it on TikTok or something like that, and how it was a good animation app. So I downloaded it and my first animation was either a really bad Spamvil meme (deltarune thing ignore that) where I moved their .PNGs around and made them do things, or where I animated a random OC singing Welcome to the Internet by Bo Burnham, where I attempted moving body parts around. Since then I've obviously gotten better, and I actually make things I'm still proud of.

In 3rd or 4th grade, I had a phase where I was obsessed with Rubix Cubes and solving them. I remember bringing them out in class, but then a teacher Who I Hated said to put it away. So I did. But then I didn't, because I was playing with it inside my backpack during free time. Unfortunately I was caught and it got taken away, and I cried a lot. That taught me to not bring lots of things I value to school.

Toby Fox, creator of Undertale and Deltarune, also impacted my life for (sort-of) obvious reasons. My sister was a fan of his work (mentioned before) and I am to this day, since the new chapters of Deltarune released recently. I love Deltarune, been a fan since chapter 1 released in 2019. I also had many, many Deltarune phases in my life, which is about five, including the one I'm in now. Anyways, he had an immense impact on my interests, personality, and art style.

Once, probably in 2016, my sister left some sort of color picking website on the computer, and I was staring at the color palettes. I remember looking at the colors and seeing plum, and I thought to myself, "Wow, I don't think I've ever seen someone with the favorite color PLUM before!" I wanted to be unique back then, so I decided that plum was my favorite color in case someone asked. No one ever did, and looking back, it was kind of an ugly color. I still don't have an actual favorite color.

In elementary I remember randomly (as in, I don't remember why) becoming aware of the LGBTQ+ community's existence, and I was really interested in it for some reason. I binge watched multiple flag explanation videos and I really wanted to plaster it on everything I made because I thought it was really cool. Some years later during the COVID, I was trying to think of cool 3-letter names since I saw a lot of people online having those and I thought it was cool. I wrote them down in a Google Doc (that I don't think I have anymore) and I eventually landed on "Jam" which I thought was amazing since it was also an inanimate object, and those were cool to me too. I've calmed down since then, but I still like going by Jam since it's an easier name for others to pronounce. No one's ever mispronounced JAM and not CRYSZEL, at least not that I know of...
