INTELLECTUAL WELLNESS

Learning is indeed a lifelong process. In this lifetime of ours, we never stop learning in all aspects because there are still things in life that we have yet to know and explore. What would life be if we already knew everything? Not knowing a lot of things makes life more meaningful and exciting because we get to expand our knowledge as the day goes by.

This is significant to me because I believe that the knowledge that we have will always be our power. It helps us to strive more in life and encourage ourselves to the possibilities out there. As long as I nurture my intellectual wellness, I am sure that I will be able to live a long and happy life because I am eager to learn and open to a lot of new things.

EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

In life, there are things that we can and cannot control. Luckily, emotions are something that can be controlled yet it is very difficult. To be honest, I am not that great when it comes to handling my emotions but I make it a point to try as much as I can.

This is significant to me because my emotions are what controls the actions that I do. If I am happy, I do things without any hesitations or any comments. However, when I am sad or something's been bothering me, I tend to put everything on hold as if I don't have a life. When I feel so drained, I tend to shut my whole system down as if I do not exist. This is what I need to work on because I sometimes feel like I am already mentally unstable. Learning how to acknowledge my feelings and nurture my emotional well-being will not just help me emotionally but will help me see the beauty that life has to offer, and to want to live longer.

SOCIAL WELLNESS

I live by having meaningful connections and relationships with anyone I come in contact with. I agree when Aristotle stated that "man by nature is a social animal" because in order to live one's life to the fullest, he/she should be able to create social bonds that would help him/her have a better life. I used to be a shy girl who thought that being alone was much better than being in a circle of people and socializing. However, when I started coming out of my comfort zone, I realized that I had so much potential to socialize. I can easily bond with elders, parents, children, etc. I did not know that I had that kind of capability.

This is significant to me because are social life is what keeps us motivated and what keeps us feel loved and cared for. I am happy when I am around other people that brings out the best in me. I can nurture this aspect in such a way that I would be able to protect my social circle and be able to maintain close relationships despite the circumstances. As long as I have the people that matter the most to me, I would live a long and happy life.
