Hello everyone. This week, Ms Charmaine and I would like to focus on our furry friends. Did you know that even our pets need to adjust to the Covid-19 lockdown? Here are some tips on how to care for your pet whilst staying indoors:

Exercise daily with your pet through different games like fetch and obstacle races.
Make sure to maintain a healthy food diet with your pet.
Practice good hygiene routines by cleaning your pet's accessories and washing your hands every time you come in contact with your pet.
Make them something special whilst having fun using recycled material (ask an adult to help you when using sharp objects). Here's how:

As a pet I have fish. I have a lot so they don’t have names. But I can tell you some facts about fish!!

Fish are vertebrate animals that live in the water. Vertebrate means they have a spinal cord surrounded by bone or cartilage.
Fish have gills that extract oxygen from the water around them.
There are over 30000 known species of fish.
Some flatfish use camouflage to hide themselves on the ocean floor.
Tuna can swim at speeds of up to 70 kph (43 mph).
Relative to their body size, fish have small brains compared to most other animals.
Fish are covered in scales which are often covered in a layer of slime to help their movement through water.
Cleaner fish help out other fish by removing parasites and dead skin from their scales.
Although jellyfish and crayfish have the word ‘fish’ in their name, they aren’t actually fish.
Over 1000 fish species are threatened by extinction.
Mermaids are mythological creatures with the tail of a fish and the upper half of a woman.

These are my pets. They are Persian cats and they are called Rusky (the brown one), Perrie (the grey striped one) and Mittens (the white and grey one). Mittens is six years old, Rusky is five years old and Perrie is one year old. They like to eat their food and treats. They sleep most of the time during the day but they also like to play with me, with their toys. I really love them and take good care of them. They are also litter trained. My pet is a Rainbow Lorikeet.
This Rainbow Lorikeet is five and a half months old.
We bought it when it was still three months old so we had to hand feed it.
It is very tame and does not eat seed but it eats powdered like food.
In the wild it eats pollen and pedals of flowers and it is a bird that lives in Australia.
Eg: Roses and Hibiscus.
His name is Ron.
