The movies today can be seen in different places in modern time theateres and online, which can be seen in color. Prohibition led directly to the rise of organized crime, which had an increase in smuggling, and a decline in tax revenue. Prohibition significantly shaped American society and culture by fostering organised crime, changing drinking habits, and influencing politics. Today Americans are drinking a lot less, , before Prohibition began in 1920, the average American drank 2.6 gallons of alcohol each year. That average has dropped by more than 70 percent in the early years of Prohibition.

Black Wall Street

The Black Wall Street is also known as Greenwood, being one of the most wealthiest Black communities in the United States. On May 31 and June 1, 1921, mobs of white residents attacked Black residents, homes, and businesses, as well as cultural and public institutions in the Greenwood District of Tulsa, OK, an oil boom city. As a result of this attack, thirty-five blocks were systematically looted and burned, destroying 190 businesses and leaving 10,000 people homeless. Although racial segregation was the norm in post-Civil War America, Black Wall Street turned the tables on the system. Today Black entrepreneurs were able to offer goods and services to their own neighbors since many white-owned businesses wouldn't serve Black communities or customers.

Radio encouraged the growth of national popular music stars and brought regional sounds to wider audiences. The effects of early radio programs can be felt both in modern popular music and in television programming. Today radio's are used for providing music, news to inform you, and weather and highway updates to keep you safe. Your car radio allows you to listen to virtually any type of programming while you're on the road. Radio stations are also used for supporting local events, promoting local businesses, etc.
