For today’s scavenger hunt I visited the student center. This is definetly not my first or last time visiting as it houses flashes activity board, ASL, and USG events. Along with that it is the home of many food places here on campus and the bookstore.

Lily Farwell: This is the front of the DI Hub by the starbucks side. The DI is interesting to me because it is home to many diverse opportunities for students like a dining hall and reactor with many events in the bottom floor as well.

The Kent State University Library has a lot of fun features, including the computer lab, Starbucks, an escalator, a poetry room on the second floor, and the esports room. It also has tutoring, math help, and tech help for all your needs! and most importantly, the writing commons. I believe this is a notable spot because it has some good areas to study in, get help in, and to relax. Also, not to mention the tallest building in Portage County.

This is the Kent State University Library. It is one of the more older buildings on campus.

It is worth noting that this buildings houses many different resources that are available to all students.

The Student Center host many kinds of events that students can participate in. For my "adventure" me and my friend went to the Keychain event. This is only one of the many things the Student center has to offer. This spot is worth noting because the student center is where I feel the most united and at home. I'm almost always in the student center eating or hanging out.

The Center for Undergraduate Excellence is home to many tools for academic success. Inside you can find tutoring, peer assisted study groups, and academic coaching. This building is open to all students and provides a great space for studying. I think this is a very important place to be aware of to help students that are in need of academic help.

This particular building is not someplace where students simply pass by trying to appear busy. The Kent State Student Center is the heart of campus culture. Here people find the motivation to study harder and make friends to keep themselves from insanity while they try to cope with university requirements.

You come here looking for a bite to eat or just to have a talk with someone, but once inside, you will spend countless hours there as long as the atmosphere is buzzing with activity.

-I chose this place because it has slowly become one of my favorite spots on Campus, it's hidden underneath the ISB and much of it is restricted due to it mainly being accessible only by grad students with key card access. I love it because it's someplace I can go for peace and quiet and time to clear my head while working in the lab I volunteer for. I didn't even know it existed before this semester and now I can't imagine my semesters moving forward without it and my favorite Grad Student/TA. As someone pursuing grad school in the next coming years, the brain health institute allows me to get my volunteer research hours in, but it also helps me speak/ create relationships with people who are years ahead of me, and who have "done it all". I get to ask them their opinions and see what they think and pick their minds on how they got to where they are nowadays. I love it and I hope everyone else does too.

The student center is sort of a center to the university- it's where every student starts out, touring from the ballroom. I believe this building to be significant because there are a lot of helpful resources within it. Food, the bookstore, quiet study areas, social areas, outdoor spots- not to mention the amount of on-campus events held here, such as karaoke in the Rathskeller, bingo in the Pepsi leadership center, etc.
