Not surprised. Teamwork outside of our own division - wonder about within CSG's teamwork

What do we need to do as one-CSG to improve employee experience?

have a joined CSG briefing/outreach sessions so it doesnt appear silo and we can provide coherent responses as one-CSG.

1. while we drop non-critical projects, we should also avoid adding non-critical projects!
2. articulate and communicate more about the rationale of our intentions/objectives of the policies/governance considerations. eg why need PRS for course registration, need for prioritisation due to budget constraints, career progression pathways
3. in terms of career progression, tailor our briefing to different target audience so that we address their concerns more effectively
4. Be intentional to create opportunities for different divisions to come together to form friendships so it's easier to work when relationships are formed

What surprised you about CSG's EX 2021 results?

1. Surprised that WFH arrangements did not improve flexibility score - may be due to blurring of lines between work and personal/home time.

3. Lack of familiarity between staff/teams, low affiliation with new staff hired during pandemic - challenging to induct with minimal in-person contact

What do we need to do as one-CSG to improve employee experience?

2. Supervisors should avoid disturbing staff after office hours, unless really urgent. Important to develop trust between supervisor and staff. Sometimes staff also need to give supervisors a break :-)

1. Respect boundaries between work and home/family/personal time

2. Empower, develop and prepare staff competency to be able to operate more independently, while supervisors need to be ready to step in to sort out difficulties/challenges

3. Role clarity between line departments and CSG divisions, with respect to the various customer issues. Need to manage our customers' expectations.
