Macro - political forces
The political environment is made up of laws, government agencies, and pressure groups that influence and limit the activities of various organizations and individuals in society. It is true that political forces may have an impact on the country's tourism. This is because if a country lacks security and safety measures, it will result in lesser tourist visiting the country. In this article, mentioned by Dr. Taheb Khan, who came here since 2002, along with his 6 family members felt that Singapore was safe and the people here are very good. Therefore, it is true that high level of security will result in the increase of tourism.

Political forces has an impact on SG tourism, for example, an increase in legislation and regulations for foreigners to first get a VISA before entering Singapore. This may divert foreigners that have to get VISA to not want to visit Singapore as it may be too much trouble to get a VISA.

Micro - Company
A company's internal environment is something a company has control over. A company's produce, customers, price, etc. is controlled. If not controlled correctly, the SG tourism industry may experience a decrease.

Macro - Cultural Forces
Culture incorporates the set of values, ideas, and attitudes that are learned and shared among the members of a group. Since the number of tourists from China has been increasing, companies in the tourism industry has adapted in order to make their vacations more comfortable. For example, in the article it says that InterContinental Singapore teaches their staff Chinese Etiquette like presenting name cards with 2 hands. This will then allow the staff to appear more polite to the tourists and not accidentally offend them.

Macro-Cultural Force
India and China, countries with equally heavy cultures are two countries that boosts Singapore's tourism. With 1 in 5 travellers hailing from these countries, from the article, it is evident that Singapore is making efforts to cater to tourists from these countries. For example, InterContinental Singapore general manager Michael Martin said that since 2015, the hotel has made itself a “China-ready” establishment.

Macro - Social Forces.
Social forces have boost SG tourism. In recent years, there has been a rise in demand from India. One of the adaptation local companies have done is to "offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus". This will impact SG tourism as India Tourists would be more inclined to travel to SG as their eating habits would be take care of.

Micro - Marketing Intermediaries.
Marketing Intermediaries have boost SG tourism. As seen in the passage, CAG and STB have collaborated with marketing intermediaries such as travel agencies and airlines to attract tourists to Singapore. One positive example would be "Last year, Singapore welcomes 127,000 cruise passengers from India, a 25 per cent jump for 2016." This shows that marketing intermediaries helped to increase tourist arrivals as they reach out to a larger market.
