According to the birth of technology “To The Birth of Technology it says “to understand how Mesopotamia became one of the earliest-known civilizations to create and advance technology, we must consider how religion dictated the Sumerian way of life. The Sumerians believed the divine was involved in every aspect of their lives. The gods and goddesses controlled everything, even the weather! People had to please them to earn good fortune and have a good life. Another piece of evidence The Fertile Crescent is a small area surrounded by very dry land. This meant space for farming was limited, unless people could invent a way to transport water. The Sumerians knew that without a stable food supply, they would not survive. This led them to invent new tools and structures to support farmers and their crops, such as the plow, levee, and canal. These irrigation tools helped them grow enough food to live on These pieces of evidence supports my claim because it tells you how technology was created in mesopotamia.

In my opinion technology had the most impact on Mesopotamia.Technology impacted Mesopotamian society by making it harder for people to find resources to farm.another reason technology impacted Mesopotamian society is that the would have to carry things instead of pulling a wagon.
