The study highlights that AI has a dual effect: it can reduce code-switching through full translations, but also increase it by encouraging hybrid language use. As a result, bilingual speakers develop more dynamic and mixed linguistic identities that combine local and global elements. Based on survey and interview data, the research shows that AI is not only a technological tool but also a social force reshaping language practices, emphasizing the need to balance innovation with the preservation of cultural and linguistic identity.
