discover that the stash comes up short of the letter’s promised $6,000.
26. Huck finds the $6,000 in gold, takes it to his sleeping cubby, and then sneaks out late at night.

where her dead father’s body lies.

blurts out that the family will be reunited in less than two weeks
29. Doctor Robinson again declares the duke and the dauphin to be frauds
and has the crowd bring the real and the fraudulent Wilks brothers to a tavern for examination.
