         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><em>3 Specific Challenges:</em></strong></p><p>a. A student repeatedly fails assessments despite support.</p><p>b. A colleague successfully uses a new tech platform to engage students.</p><p>c. You correct a student, and they immediately shut down.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>2 ways these statements helps to RETHINK:</em></strong></p><p>a. When other students are able to find success in assessment, when they are confident about assessment - everyone else can do it. Break it down differently, model success, and help them internalise strategies.</p><p><br></p><p>b. When others are able to implement technology confidently and with impact, it shows success is possible — it’s a matter of learning, not talent. Break down how the colleague approached learning the platform — observe, ask questions, or request a demo.Model their process in small steps.Practice using the tool with a low-stakes lesson.<br>Reflect and refine. Internalise success strategies, and adapt them to your teaching style.</p><p><br></p><p>c. He/She is just a child. Maybe the way we have given feedback or corrected them was not appropriate. Our communication needs to be corrected.
