I will be mainly using the Padlet to check in on your progress through the worksheet and lesson. If you are unsure about how to start tackling the worksheet, I suggest that each person pick one question to answer. Share this answer in Padlet. This way you can deal with your collaboration component (At leasts 1 post and 1 response) in a convenient way.

(a)(Q) " I always recover from my flu by sleeping, without seeing the doctor. Therefore, i can also recover from my flu this time without seeing the doctor."
(A) The reason in this question is that the person find it unnecessary to visit the doctor as he/she has recovered from a flu before just by sleeping. Thus, he/she will not go to the doctor even though he/she has a flu and thinks that he/she will recover just like the past few times.
The reasoning behind this is not logical as the severity of the sickness cannot be predicted. Even though you may have recovered from flu before without going to the doctor, the next flu might be worse than previous ones' . So concluding that you do not need to go to the doctor due to a flu does not link to the reason.

(b)(Q)" All those who follow the crowd and join queues blindy are kiasu. You are in a queue. Therefore, you are kiasu"
(A) The reasoning for this question is people who follow queues blindy are considered kiasu. It also said "you are in a queue therefore you are kiasu".
So they are saying that you being in a queue is considered kiasu which does not make sense. Although you follow people in to the queue, you may actually know what you are queuing for and not just blindly following people. Even if people follow blindly, they may not have the fear of losing out but more of being curious on why people are queuing. Thus, being in a queue does not make you a kiasu

part (a): Initially I was planning to go out to Woodlands shopping Mall. I just saw a text message that a COVID-19 suspected case was reported at a Woodlands shopping mall, so I am cancelling all my planned appointments at Woodlands for the rest of the month.”
answers:

They will make sure a claim because logical will tell them to stay away from places that have suspected case as they will just randomly believe and trust what is spread over the internet and social media . However for a critical thinker they will first ask themselves to check further on this statement. Logical thinking will tell us that even if there is a suspected case in woodlands shopping mall we don't have to avoid the whole woodlands. Therefore for us to ensure that we are bias in our thinking we have to first think logically and check reliability of this statement and source.
Part (b):a. The thought of being locked in my apartment for 14 days scares me. I would rather stop meeting any foreign friends, even if our friendship would be strained, than risk being infected with the virus from them.”
ans:
The purpose for this 14 quarantine days is to ensure that you are not infected by this virus this is to better protect citizen and individuals this does not means that foreign are more vulnerable. Critical thinker needs to be open minded and have logical thinking more and more people in other country are getting infected with this virus doesn't means that everyone is infected there are still people who are not. We have to stand in their shoes and be sensitive there are always lots of way to keep in touch it don't have to be meeting him physically.

However everyday is a different day so today there might be a queue.
(b)(Q)"It is wrong to buy too many masks at this time"
(A) During this crisis, people would panic buy everything that is a neccessity as they are afraid that they might run out. However, you need to think about other people. At this timing, it is definitely wrong to buy too many mask as it is on high demand. Stocks will be low and some people might need it more than others.
