Scottish rally driver, the son of five-time champion of Great Britain Rally Jimmy Makreja and older brother of professional rally driver Alister Makrey.
Career
Colin McRae began his career as a rally driver in 1986, piloting a Talbot Sunbeam. From the start of performances in the championship Rally of Scotland, he was known for his speed and exciting style of driving. Many compared the style of piloting Makreja with Ari Vatanen, the famous Finnish rally driver, who McRae always called his idol. Soon, he sat behind the wheel of Vauxhall Nova, and then - on the Ford Sierra XR 4x4. At the beginning of his racing career, the young McRae had the nickname &quot;Makkresh&quot; for frequent accidents, the cause of which was an adventurous style of driving. Over time, it is not more so called, very rarely beat Colin machines.
He was born in 5th august in 1968.But he was die in 2007 
because of the crash by helicopterю
He visited many rallies, he took I like he.
I write about this racer  because I like racers and cars,and he have cool history.In his honor  ches even called the game: «Colin McRae Rally».</description>
