<title>Personification is one literary device that is used in this poem. Personification in this poem molds and forms mental illness&#39;s specifically Anxiety and Depression into an actual person. This can also create confusion when reading because it takes on so many human traits throughout the poem. An example of this is the quote &quot; You said you&#39;d keep me safe, All the protection id need, you said you knew what&#39;s best for me, but tell me did you really.&quot; (stanza 1, lines 2-5). Here the author claims that it is telling her things when in actuality Anxiety and Depression cannot physically tell her what to do, but its rather mentally. This makes readers question who the author is talking about and can make them feel confused or it can create a sense of relatability if they can resonate with how the author is feeling. Personification in the poem adds more structure to the poem by creating a storyline and a protagonist within the poem. This poem would be good within a community but only in places where people want to hide or where they go to breathe. The poem is more dark and morbid and would feel very out of place in a very public place. Instead, I would put it maybe in a park or in the woods where some people, like me, to go and calm down or to be able to breathe and take a break. When people read this I would hope they would feel a sense of relief that they are not going through it alone. </title>

<title>Repetition is another literary device that is located in the poem. Repetition in the poem takes many forms but often repeats an ongoing feeling of the author throughout the poem. The feeling of repetition is a cry for help or it&#39;s supposed to seem like your being screamed at. It&#39;s supposed to convey confusion and sadness. This is shown in stanza 6 lines 4-6 where the author says, &quot;I want to die, I want to die, I want to die&quot;. This quote creates a sense of remorse for the person reading this poem. It also can create a sense of concern or alarm in one&#39;s mind as the words used are very strong and scary especially if it is coming from someone you love and care about. using this device creates a structure to the poem because it adds more in-site into the emotional state of this person. It also highlights the important feeling this person feels by repeating them over and over again. Since the poem contains strong language and feeling this poem would be better in a place only where people can go looking for it. Like a park or somewhere deep on the internet.</title>

<title>Rhyme is another great example of a literary device used in this poem. Rhyme in the poem creates a sense of flow and in certain parts creates a fast pace which adds depth tho the poem. Examples of this is shown in stanza 2 lines 3-7, &quot; And as night starts to fall,I once again feel so small, Because the pounding in my head, Means not sleeping in my bed, Soon becomes a life full of dread.&quot; This shows rhyming in couplets with the words fall and small and it showing rhyming in 3&#39;s, head, bed, and dread. This can make the reader feel more at ease because the word choice are easy words and aren&#39;t to complex to read or say. Rhyme in the poem of course creates a sense of flow which adds to the structure by making the poem seem more complete. The flow of the poem is import because when reciting poems its good to have something that everyone can understand and can be expressed as if they are you friend and your venting to them. This creates a feeling of support with both the poet and the audience. This poem would once again be good to express in a place where people go only to look for it. Like deep in the woods, online or maybe entered in a slam poetry contest. </title>

<title>The phrase &quot;Never show what I&#39;m suppressing&quot; is a really powerful part of the poem because it shows the stigma of mental health and the effect it can have on </title>
