John got arrested 3 times as a teen due to underage drinking violations.
Moved to Fremont California at age 25 and start working as a high school art teacher.
Married at age 28. Had two sons. (Both have college degrees, one working in healthcare and one as a college professor; both living in Newark Ca.)
At 55 he became a grandfather.
Retired at age 67 with wife.
diagnosed with kidney disease at 75 and moved with wife to Newark to be closer to kids and grand kids.
