         <description><![CDATA[<div>Congress gave Morse money to run wires for Morse code from Washington DC to Baltimore. He set it up in the supreme court and could now communicate to Baltimore. This happened by sending code in dots and dashes. Dots for short tones and dashes for long tones.</div>]]></description>

         <title>1820 Iron Plow</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jethro Wood made the iron plow with replaceable parts. Plows made of iron had to be pulled by oxen which were strong but slow. But the iron plow could be pulled by horses which were much faster than the oxen.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>These girls worked in the new mills and were hired from surrounding farms. Most sent wages home for their families. These girls were forced to work up to 12 hours a day which is way too much work for any human being. This affected the economy positively because they were producing more textiles having bigger production.</div>]]></description>

These cities were small and buildings were only a few stories tall. This negatively affected the environment because people threw trash into the streets, and had no sewers.</div>]]></description>

Before he made these machines gunsmiths had to make each part and most times they were made differently so if a part broke then they had to make a whole new part. If they used the machines then all the parts would be the same so they could easily replace broken parts. This positively affected the community because they could produce a lot more guns</div>]]></description>

As more factories were spread across the northeast it forced the families to leave their homes in order to make money because the family business couldn't keep up with the factories that came with the revolution. This gave societies that the view was for the men to leave and bring home money to the women and that was sucess.</div>]]></description>
