August 11, 1962
This is absolutely unbelievable! I cannot believe this is happening to me! This beautiful world is even more beautiful from outer space! This is a once in a life time opportunity and is absolutely outstanding to be lucky enough to see this sight in person! Taking off in the launch was a bit scary but we did all kinds of simulations back on Earth to make it not as bad. I knew it would be hard to sleep tonight (because of the crammed space to sleep in) and for the largest reason of all, I'M IN SPACE! This took me many months or even years of training to be here, a pilot on the Vostok 4 aircraft as a pilot. I have had much piloting experience because during the war I got drafted to be in the air force to fight for my country, Russia. I haven't encountered any problems yet, thank goodness! Let's all hope that this mission will run smoothly!
~Andriyan Nikloyev

August 13, 1962
Okay so I know I started this blog off with saying how amazing this is but I might be starting to maybe think otherwise. Don't get me wrong the view is worth more billions of dollars it just being here is a lot of work and stress. So to start off, there's so much research to be done on everything I see and encounter during my space time, so many calculations to be made, and piloting. I also have not even had enough time to work out which is something that I'm required to do. I hope when I get back to Earth I'll be alright. I'm basically their test run to see how long a person can be in space for without it damaging the person too much. Besides all of the work that has to be done and the not exercising part, I'm doing alright. I'm looking forward to coming back to Earth though to see all of my family and friends. I just would like to say a great thanks to everyone who has made this possible (Vostok 4 people and the Russian community). Anyways, there has been an issue with the Popovich and that is basically the system that supports our life and drops the temperature around ten degrees and the humidity goes up around thirty five percent so I had to conduct most those experiments. Anyways mission control is calling for me so I have to leave, wish me luck!
-Andriyan Nikolayev

August 16, 1962
My wildest dreams have come true, I've never been happier! I want to say the most special thanks to people who made Vostok 4 possible, and to all of my fellow Russians! I wish to go on future missions to space where I can hopefully spend more time up there. This was an outstanding experience. I recommend it to everyone. I just wanted everyone to know that everything is possible. Also to keep you updated on how I'm doing, I'm doing alright besides the fact that I feel so weak. Lesson learned that if you ever go into space: make time to work out. I'm currently in a rehabilitation center where I can regain my strength. But seeing those amazing sights and being apart of the history books, it was definitely worth it. I am so thankful to be back on Earth safe and sound and cannot wait until the next launch to see the next lucky person(s) go up into my favorite place, space. I wish all of the people who go into space a safe and beautiful journey into the unknowns, and I fully support the space race. I know I'm getting off topic but this was just an outstanding thing, going into space, and being apart of the space race! Signing off for the last time in this space blog,
Andriyan Nikolayev
