After a tumultuous election and one of the darkest days in history - the terrorist attack of January 6th - hope is finally shining through, like the sun after a gloomy day. It's almost like people were just like you know what? We just gonna break through all the yellow tape and do whatever we want because it's about darn time! I remember when Hilary Clinton first ran and their was all this stigma around a female president but you guys were just like we got the foot in the door! Now when kids my age grow up (hopefully) having a female president and vice president will seem like such a normal thing. The country we live in has been divided too long and with too many boundaries put on people. It's nice to know that people in power actually care to break those boundaries and make way for the future. If today has proved anything it's that ALL people can work together. I remember watching the first democratic debate and how you two exchanged with each other and I think it's cool that Mr. President picked Madam Vice president because its shows that people can fight and disagree but still forge a path that will build a better tomorrow.
