the 2 units are about moving and changing lives, houses, friends, cultures and ETC...
A skill that could be applied on those two very different topics is the researching skill, because if you don't know about a word in english or the name of a book you might research, it could be asking a adult or in the computer. But in I&S you might research more deeply to find more information such as the first civilazations that steped on this giant world, what caused the first and second war and ETC...

1- We are reading a book called refugie in ELL and in I&S we are learning about refugies and migration.

2- When we learned to use a timeline, it also helped me with using dates in texts.

3- I&S helped me a lot with my english vocabulary.

4- In english class we learn how to speak in public so that helped me with presenting in I&S.

Some connections I noticed, is that in both classes, we use reading and writing, and english class improves on the gramar, speaking and understanding. In history class, we do use writing skills and speaking skills. We might use this skill to read future books. You need to understand english words so you can learn history.

The two units are connected because

the both units because some thing that we learn in english we can use that thing that we learned to apply on the thing that we are going to learn in history so then we learn the same topic from both classes so then it is easier to understand the topic. One skill that I developed in history was reaserch skill because I could improve much better my reaserching, and onde skill that I developed in ELL was reaserching skills to because when we read crossover I could reaserch in the book and write the information that I found in the book.

one thing, that connects history and english is going with the book we will read "Refugee". In english we will read this story and learn more about it, while history sometimes can tell how they moved from a country to another.
Second thing. English helps me a lot on my vocabulary, and also my way to text and write, but i noticed that history also teach me some words like hemisphere, northwest, and a lot more.

We can have lots of help in history if we read about refugees. Because in history there have been lots of refugee cases, so if we read Refugees we can learn more about refugees and migration. This will also help us better understand how and why migration and refugees happen. So this book has a big connection with history and English. Also in English, we learn a lot about time and different words etc. Which can help us to understand different events that have happened back in time.

When we read books in ell that are connected to history class it shows somethings that we learned and how it applies to real life, so it is easier and better to understand what we are learning. The things we learn in history can also help us understand better what and why certain things are happening in the ell book. Another reason why history connects to ell is that we can have more than one source to use and that helps with seeing different ways of explaining things and knowing if the reliability of the sites or books are good.

In ELA and ELL we learn about a lot of things but they are also connected to each other, one example of this is our research methods that we need to use to research to prove the website is reliable, like the OPVL method.Another example is the fact is that ELA and ELL talk about changing lives, moving on with friends, culture, eras and many more.
