I did enjoy my first interaction with this book. I learned that “Belly”, Laurel and Steven goes to Susannah, Jeremiah and Conrad’s beach house every summer and that Belly had a huge crush on Conrad. I’m wondering if Conrad likes Belly back. I read 10 pages, my reading goal is 10 pages a day.

Belly finds out Conrad had a girlfriend. She also doesn’t like talking to her dad unless he talks or calls her first and she learns the Taylor wants Conrad and is trying to convince Belly that Jeremiah is better for her. The book has gotten better because more is happening making it more interesting. As a reader I think I get distracted easily but also can be focused. I want to finish my book in about 20 days.

Belly is confused whether or not she wants to be with Jeremiah or Conrad because they both do things that make her want to be with them. But then she meets this boy at the bonfire who she finds attractive and they start talking. The conflict is that Belly likes Conrad but he doesn’t seem to like her back. I like independent reading because I don’t usually read and this has made me start reading more. I’m on page 111.

Recently in the book Conrad and Jeremiah start to become more protective over Belly because she has been seeing a boy named Cam. Belly the main character is an overthinker and short tempered sometimes. I think that I haven’t been reading as much as I did in the beginning and I need to focus more. I could probably finish is January.
