I have dabbled in Med/Surg, Step down & Geri Psych as well when hospice is too hard on my heart, but I seem to always end up back in hospice work. Perhaps it’s my calling 😉

I am currently an RN Staff & Evaluations Nurse for The Hospice of East Texas. I care for terminally ill patients at our in-patient unit as well as introduce hospice services to patients & their families and determination qualification. My goal is to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing before I die. Literally, with the hours I work (and being a wife & mother), it is not a guarantee! After Geri I have three classes remaining, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel & it doesn’t appear to be an oncoming train.
