Gab Tria 10A31

- Inclusivity in science and innovation is essential because in order to make the world a better a place we must start with unity among us so that we may have the progress that we need and want. If everyone feels welcomed and included in science, innovation would be so much easier to do. With inclusivity, people will be able to freely express themselves and unleash their hidden talents and ideas. Scientific breakthroughs and progress would be impossible if there was no inclusivity. Science is a field full of discoveries so this means that we must be open to each and everyone's idea in order to learn. Our world will not be able to flourish if we don't open our minds to the ideas of others. Learning on our own is not enough, we must also know about the different perspectives and experiences of others so that we may grow as individuals helping each other and that we may gain knowledge to improve the world. Inclusivity makes us free to be open to new things and this includes being open to innovation as well.

- Having listened to the talk, I realized that everyone is capable of so much more. As the speaker spoke about her accomplishments, she also spoke about her many more goals and dreams that she wants to accomplish. Even if she has several degrees, she still has dreams that she wants to accomplish. This inspires me because I realized that as long as I am alive and open to the doors of dreams and opportunities, I can be capable of so much more. When you accomplish one dream that doesn't mean that your journey ends, it just means that something greater will begin next. This greater thing can help us embark on a new journey that can help us change the world regardless of who we are. Whether you are a man or a woman, or a child or an adult, you are free of dreaming and accomplishing your goals and dreams. You shouldn't let anything stop you from going towards your dreams. As we are capable of so much more, the world also becomes capable of so much more. Our goals don't just affect us, but they can also affect the people surround us. Some may think that their goals are only going to help them, but in reality these goals that you work hard for also helping other people in return. We must remember that no matter who we are or what we've become we are still people who are capable of doing so much more.
