Minimum wage increase on the surface Seems like a win for everyone. In reality it hurts everyone to a degree. Job Requirements get more demanding from my personal experience i was looking for a job (before covid) at some fast food places like McDonalds the most entry level job. They were starting to require more Experience which hurts people like me trying to get a job that are younger without work experience. People who support an increase even agree to a degree that the cost to live rises with a wage increase Which hurts and can create more poverty than help the issue. In Ohio the minimum wage in 2022 was around 9$ here by me in Riverside-corona it was 14-15$. Now that might seem like I would make more but to live here is more expensive so that's why the wage is so high if we were to make the wage increase too much say 15$ in weaker economies it would kill the economy in that area. That mom and pa Ice cream shop that was a small business would go out of business because they don't make enough money to pay 15$ compared to the 9$ they used to pay an hour that would be like the minimum wage in cali going up to 30$ per hour.
