There are many benefits when going global, like increased profit, more job opportunities, lower cost of labor, etc. However, there are also a lot of risks involved. When taking an organization global you must make sure that your company is needed in the country because if it’s not you can easily fail. You must make sure that your company is in line with the country’s laws and regulations, as well as make sure you have the resources available to make whatever product you plan on selling. It is a high risk, high reward situation with many opportunities to succeed but just as many to fail.

Once all these plans are in place you must be able to make final decisions on each step. There are many different structures to choose from, so you need to make sure you choose the one best suited to your company.
