         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Construct a Word is an interactive game that has students select the ending of a word and connect blends and prefixes to create full words.<br><br>Why?&nbsp;<br>     The game helps student avoid made up words as it will correct them with "that's not on my list" and provide a countdown as to how many words are left for them to create. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;IXL provides various versions of multiple meaning word games but what makes this one more preferable is that it provides visuals for students to limit their literal and at times abstract thinking when it comes to understanding examples when a word does not have one definition.&nbsp;<br><br>Why?<br>     IXL provides over twenty examples per lesson and if the student completes it incorrectly, the child is able to view a detailed explanation and similar examples to improve their understanding and direction.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This interactive game informs the player to "match the picture word that has the same middle sound as the picture word on the plate."&nbsp;<br><br>Why?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This game speaks to the student and helps pronounce the two words that have the same middle sound. It also provides visual cues of the written word and familiar objects. If the child gets it incorrect, the incorrect word will visually show why it is not correct.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The bull asks the player to categorize the given word into the section with the right number of syllables. It reads the word aloud for the player, prompts them to independently pronounce it as well, and is then followed with a sentence.&nbsp;<br><br>Why:<br>     This game is very helpful in providing the word but constant listening prompts if the child needs to hear it again. There are many words given and are randomized so the child can continue to practice without provided the answers after a few tries. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Quizizz is a flexible program with teachers or students writing questions on any topic. For this assignment, Quizizz is very helpful in improving vocabulary understanding and building. Students are provided with multiple choice options for their questions, images can be connected to the question, and teachers can accommodate how long each student has to read the question and answer choices as well as answer it.&nbsp;<br><br>Why?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Quizizz is similar to the Kahoot program but is still completely free and easily accessible to everyone. You do not need to purchase a subscription to access lessons or other features. Students can also independently explore for more vocabulary practice under their grade level and academic topic. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Description:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;MyON has access to hundreds of ebooks where students can select based on their level. They are able to record their read alouds and play them back to hear their fluency skills.&nbsp;<br><br>Why?<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;MyON is very accommodating as it is assistive in helping students learn how to read fluently with appropriate tone and pitch. They can adjust the speed of the narrator, too. A great feature is how easily interchangeable the audio narration is when the student needs&nbsp; need to listen to a specific part and then interchange to the recording button and try reading it again.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
