I use it for research and education. I also use it to  order stock and access websites via the desktop sites that are not available on a mobile version. I use my laptop for editing and graphic design for my business and also use it to access software relevant to my business. 

Smartphone - Simply used for convenience and portability. I can call/text/email using my phone, where ever I am at the time. I am able to keep track of my social media accounts - both personal and business. 

Software - 
Timely which is used for my salon. It is able to be used by laptop and mobile and I am able to confirm/cancel appointments. Add services and take online payments etc. 

Microsoft Office, which I use for various things such as education, business etc

Printer-Have a great printer which is totally fit for purpose for our building company as prints A3 which we purchased especially for printing building plans for clients.
Software-Have been using Xero since 2015 and love it, use for both businesses and love that you can use it anywhere.
