Text: Message to Grassroots by Malcolm (X) Little

Quote: "When they had the revolution over there, they took a whole generation of Uncle Toms — just wiped them out...And today it’s one of the toughest, roughest, most feared countries on this earth — by the white man. ’Cause there are no Uncle Toms over there" (Malcolm Little).

My artifact is the newspaper "Death to the Klan", published in June 1985 by the John Brown Anti-Klan Committee. The section of the newspaper for my allusion is the "Racist Klan Birth Control Campaign" on page 5 in the upper left hand corner. I chose this article as my arfitact because how the Ku Klux Klan was trying to stopped the spread of African and African American descendents, the same can be about the Chinese. The revolution that is mentioned in the quote is the Chinese revolution, and how the Chinese took their land back from the British and any Chinese that agreed with the Britiannian ideology. My allusion here is that the Chinese made sure that there was no space in China for the British at all to exist, through culture, people, ideology. If it was a hint of either of the three, that flame had to be extinguished regardless of who you were. They were eliminating a space where Britain society was no longer accepted. The Ku Klux Klan was a bit more specific in their plans. They not only wanted the growth of black people to stop, they were willing to ask for investments to stop the growth of all blacks/Africans at is source: Africa. In relation to X's quote, the Ku Klux Klan recognized that if they were able to weed out black people they would also be seen as a strong country The Ku Klux Klan were not only focused on making sure that was not a space in America for black people, but also as within the world, not wanting black people to be an population that exists. That was their type of revolution that they had in mind.
