Maybe coming up with some ways we could get 10% more North across the team of people we have now, so a little bit from everybody. Whether going through each of the other West, South, and East areas and identifying some way that each of those areas could be intentional about either developing the North a bit more, or at least being aware of when the strengths of that area might tend to be pulling away from North happening at a balanced level across the team.

Planning timelines for work completion on projects where multiple groups have pieces to do. Two pieces to that. First piece, a lot of us have non-government backgrounds, and the time that things take is just longer here. So knowing how to adjust for that and be realistic about timelines. Second piece, it's actually a skill to put together timelines in general, not just at a state agency. It can get assumed that people (should) know how to do it but generally isn't specifically taught. And then there is frustration when it doesn't happen well.

Maybe something around domain 6, and specifically change management. The total number for that domain is a little lower in the comparison chart than the others. Not exactly a deficiency, but considering how much of it we do indirectly while putting data together, if there is a way to enhance what we are doing well, it might be some low hanging fruit there.

Maybe something around making the transition from working with data in a research/education/university/training environment (where we did our graduate work) to using data in decision making and taking effective action. BBH Sarah and I had a conversation around this awhile back, and maybe there's something helpful to follow that up with.
