         <description><![CDATA[<div>While the Blitz was still happening people were still going on with their everyday life-  I was having a cup of tea.<br>Adjectives: We heard the bangs, gunfire, the whistle of falling plane.<br>Hyperboley: I could sleep through the next blitz.<br>In their day they whento  school very late in the day and did not get back to early in the morning.<br>Some people did not have any Anderson sh elteres because they did not want to spend any money.<br>People had helped each other by putting out the bombs.<br>Life had carryed on even of they were in 6 feet of Ruble.<br>Life was hard for people as the bombs had distroyed their houses.<br>Aliteration: My long letter.<br>People are trying to stay positive.<br> In the letters people are chatty<br>Willie would lie to Mster Tom and say that he was a good boy and helping his mom. He will also probably write about his new baby sister in his life. <br>He may want to write about the medics rushing around fixing people, up.<br>He would talk about the difference about the countryside to the city with the smoke.</div>]]></description>

Are you sure you can’t?<br>The only way to communicate was by writing letters and they take a while to be delivered.<br>During WW2 they tried to keep calm and carry on: Mother sitting in a chair and me writing this letter and all sitting with cushions on our heads.<br>Children carried on going to school as normal.<br>They wrote in a chatty, informal style of writing.<br>They were impressed by the nurses effort by treating people with care and kindness.<br><br>•Willie could talk about how the •train journey to London.<br>•About the new baby, Trudy<br>A little bit about the bombing but saying he was fine.<br>He could say his mum was being kind even though she wasn’t.<br>He is having a good time even though he wasn’t.<br>He didnt want to worry mr Tom </div>]]></description>

I went into B's room to see if she was coming down to the shelter. There was another tremendous explosion. I really felt like I was walking through a dead city.<br>Metaphor: Dead city, a great column of smoke.<br>What would Willie talk about? How marvellous the paramedics were. He was really helping looking after his baby sister and that his mum was treating him really well. How magnificently calm everybody remained.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the Blitz people tried to stay positive and go on with their normal life. The only way of communication was writing letters. They used to ration everyday for food. ‘Could you spare some tea?’ this is an example of rationing. People would have to run in and out there house because of the alarms. Everyone would help each other and stay calm. Everybody also helped building each others Anderson shelters. Police officers would help put out incindenary bombs to stop it spreading. Informal, chatty language.<br><br>Willie would write about his little baby sister and how cute she is to not make him worried. He would tell Mr. Tom that he was okay and the bombing was not affecting him. He will NOT tell him that his mum is being abusive to him.He will not make Mister Tom worried.&nbsp;<br><br>                           </div>]]></description>

They played games like crib and wore pillows on their heads to drown out the noise.<br><br>He would talk about the difference from the countryside and the London.
