For one player, his night would turn bad. Eli Reese caught the ball and was running for a touchdown but, before he could make it he got tackled. As soon as he got tackled, he knew something was not right. He got removed from the game and pushed through his pain. The next day he could barely move or bend down, he knew he had to get help. Eli broke his back. He now thought his dream of being a professional athlete was over.

When he was recovering, he faced challenges but nothing that stopped him. The main challenge he faced was he fault lost. Without being able to play sports, he had to find other passions. Eli found a passion for computers. After he recovered, he continued to play football and wrestle throughout high school. When Eli attended college, he was recruited by Gannon University for the wrestling team. Eli thought his dream of becoming a professional athlete was still in reach after all. The problem though was he still had to pick a major. He decided to go with cyber engineering since when he did not have sports he found computers. He was so focused on his dream of being a professional athlete and the fame that came with that career, he did not put much thought into his classes or his major. He graduated with decent grades and was a successful wrestler. Even though Eli wanted to keep wrestling he decided to take  a break and find a job. He applied for many jobs, one being an entry level cyber security job. The only job he got an offer for was the least paying, entry level, cyber security. Eli decided to take the job, even though he was not the happiest. A couple months after working there, he was ready to quit. He felt like he was not being paid enough and it was extremely boring. Eli decided to give it one more month and if he still felt the same way he would quit. During that mo​​nth, he started noticing a lot of errors in the company’s system. He went to his boss and tried to tell him he was finding lots of problems but no one would listen. So, he quit on the spot. That same day Eli decided he was going to  build his own cyber security system and be his own boss. It took him two  years to create his own system. As soon as companies started seeing his system take over the cyber security world, everyone wanted to buy it. Seven years after he sold his company, he met his wife. A couple years later, he had two kids. In his free time, makes donations at John Hopkins children's hospital and volunteers there. His main advice is to always go with what your gut tells you, he said if he never would have quit that day he would not be where he is today. He also says you need to always take chances even if they do not always work out.
