Rising action- Riley and her family move to a new city, away from all of Riley's friends. Riley is having trouble making friends and hates it there. She decides to run away.

Rising Action: Riley's family moves to San Francisco and the situation doesn't seem very good; the moving van gets lost, there's a dead rat in the middle of one of the rooms, the pizza place only sells broccoli pizza. Meanwhile, the emotions in her head are having an argument.
Climax: Sadness tries to touch the core memories, and in an attempt to stop her, Joy gets them both sucked out of headquarters to long term memory. They need to find their way back with the core memories.
Falling Action: Riley's behavior is odd, and her luck is going downhill-consiquential to the fact that her core memories are gone and two of her emotions are missing. Joy and Sadness are finding their way back to headquarters with a series of adventures. 
Resolution: The three emotions left decide to steal money from Riley's mom's wallet, buy a bus ticket, and go back to their old home. Joy and Sadness get back to headquarters, stop the plan halfway through, and fix everything.
