         <description><![CDATA[<p>This act was intended to increase farmers' purchasing power by reducing surpluses of agricultural products so the prices would rise back up to give good incomes to the farmers. </p><p>Significance: Helped farmers by raising the prices of crops to pay for their land. </p><p>Recovery and Relief: These are both because this helped the farmer pay for their land to make more crops and saved this from the Great Depression. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>
