This is why it is such a discussed topic. Strategies to continue the Amazonian rainforest's life is to cancel the slash and burn way. The slash & burn is a quick but destructive type of deforestation. This strategy involves slashing down the tree and burning it. This ruins the soil, & makes it impossible to plant another tree. raw lumber, paper products: lumber & paper are huge industries across the world. having this resource can greatly improve the flow of Brazil's economy

debt management: the US typically pays developing countries money to help. the deforestation helps them pay it back.

extra flooding: Brazil gets heavy rain, lots of it. Especially in the Amazon. Trees control water in the soil, and without them, it would burst, causing major floods that would damage Brazil

declines medicine: medicines are typically created by trees, Brazil is a drastically crippled country with lots of disease.
