When she was younger she was a kid in action. She was constantly in motion, she could never sit still. She would climb up on the counter tops and look at the view. One time as she was getting down, her eyelid got caught on the cabinet. She tore her eyelid so bad, she had to rush to the emergency room to get her eyelid taken care of. She said that she has not gotten that close to a cabinet since. When Carli was in 1st or 2nd grade she took swim lessons at the YMCA. One lesson, she went under the water. She did not like the fact that she had to wake up early in the mornings and jump into the cold water. She loved the meets though. She tried a lot of different sports. She loved every other sport besides swimming. Carli is NOT a girly girl. She doesn't want to be a girly girl either. Her mom always tried to put her in dresses and skirts and bows and glitter and Carli hated it. The only time you would see Carli in a dress would be for church and school. She would only wear it because her mom made her wear it. Carli had her favorite teacher so many times in middle and high school. One day Carli was sitting in the back of the room, she hit her teacher and the teacher asked who hit her. Nobody responded. She didn't want to deal with the consequences, she knew they were going to be bad. A couple years later, Carli goes up to the teacher and tells her that she was the one who hit her. Steve works are a machine company and Pam works for a paralegal secretary. She says they are far from wealthy. Her parents have to provide for Carli, her brother, and her sister. Carli plays basketball, soccer and softball. Soccer is her all time favorite. She started playing when she was 5 years old. She tells us that her favorite childhood memory is when her parents got her her very own soccer shoes. They were black leather. She didn't want them to get worn out so every time after practice she got the leather condition her put them on the shoes. She is very organized and neat. She keeps her room super clean. Her favorite color is purple (at the age of 9.) She keeps track of everything. She keeps track of her special blanket. She lays her clothes out the night before. She doesn't like order she LOVES order. She is a perfectionist. The first time Carli played on a soccer team was when she was on the team Delran Dynamite. She was tiny but middy in the front plays with her friends. Her dad was the coach so that made it better for Carli. Carli would have good days in soccer and not so good days. One of Carli's favorite things in soccer is having super good competition and getting better. Soccer was starting to take over Carli's life. Carli has a great friend named Jamie. She says that she is a great athlete and a great person. Carli loves Jamies drive. Jamie teaches Carli wonderful lesson.
