         <description><![CDATA[<p><ul><li><p>Picture of house from the outside with style of house, roof, and windows labeled.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Each room to scale on graph paper with the layout you are choosing. &nbsp;All furniture pieces are included either with templates or stencils. Color all furniture pieces and floor. &nbsp;Include measurements of room size. &nbsp;If not using provided stencils and templates, measurements of furniture must be included.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Traffic patterns indicated by drawing arrows in the room to scale.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Pictures of all furniture- bed (headboard and footboard), dressers, end tables, couches, chairs, vanity, toilet, shower/tub. Bonus points: Label your furniture styles</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Swatches or pictures of all textiles-window treatments, floors, rugs, sheets, comforters, towels, upholstered furniture, throw pillows, shower curtains or glass doors. </p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Paint swatches (paper or electronic) for all wall colors.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br><table><tbody><tr><td><p><span>Experience (Lesson Plan) 1:</span></p><p>Focus Questions: How will I (the student) design three rooms in a house that are aesthetically pleasing and incorporate all materials learned in Interior Design?</p><br><p>Learning Target: I can determine color harmonies based on wall color, furniture color and accessory color, I can see the mass in a room based on how visually crowded a room is, I can name the rhythm, form, and lines used the design of my room, &nbsp;I can draw my rooms to scale and indicate traffic patterns with arrows, I can accessorize my room with pieces that match the room and my style.</p><br><p>Performance Indicator: Students will compile all materials or pictures to create a visual aid of their dream house design.</p><br><p>Learning Activities: Students will be designing their dream house by applying all knowledge learned from the semester. &nbsp;I will introduce the project with a Google Presentation to go over all requirements. &nbsp;The presentation will also include a teacher provided example of one room as well as examples from previous students. &nbsp;Students will be given a rubric and checklist to help them work through the project. &nbsp;The presentation will be posted to my teacher website so that students can access the information when needed.</p><br><p>Strategies: Prior knowledge</p></td></tr></tbody></table></p>]]></description>
