It was interesting speaking to our local kindergarten teachers yesterday....their focus the last few years has been teaching social skills to their students....organisational skills, responsibility, how to play, developing creativity in students (not sure that is is possible), teaching them how to imagine, respectful speak, how to have conversations and so forth....our per prep program will build on this ...including pemcil grip....as well as focus on acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills........it was as I said interesting conversation....
