You probably thought about your phone, laptop or tablet when you heard technology, and if I asked you to hand those things over to a young child you would probably have an opinion on the matter.  Some feel that children should not have screen time at all,  others see it as a necessary part of their lives, and others are somewhere in the middle.  Would those feelings change if you considered hearing aids or other assistive devices as technology? What about using those devices for educational purposes? Technology is a part of all of our lives,  so these questions impact all of us.
