Persian being my native language, I got to learn it early. It is the language my whole household speaks. Pamirian is also my second native language from my father's side. The Pamir language is an areal group of the Eastern Iranian languages, spoken by numerous people in the Pamir Mountains, particularly near the Panj River. Although, we only speak Pamirian when visiting relatives of our extended family during holidays. Most of the Pamirian I know was taught by my uncles and cousins. Sometimes we also speak English in our household. I got to learn English in school from kindergarten and my siblings. I am personally comfortable with every domain of the English language; I can write, read and listen to conversations or audio in English.
