3 main parts:

-Old age insurance for retirees 69 or older and their spouses: it was a supplement retirement plan. Half of the funds came from workers and the other half from employer. Lastly, it helped make retirement comfortable.

-Unemployment compensation system: Federal tax on employers. Was administered at state level. The regular payment ranged from $15 to $18 a week.

-Aid to families with dependent children and people with disabilities: It was paid for by federal funds made available to states.
